My Sister’s Keeper – A Sleeper?

Why am i even bothering to write about this film? I don’t know. I was just compelled to write why would people even want to see this film. Now i don’t know the full story line here, but what i did get from the trailer was some child was born to be a donor for their sister who was dying of something and would die if they didn’t get the transplant they needed. It sounds a bit sci-fi to be honest. Have another kid to harvest her organs to keep the first one alive. Pretty dodgy in my mind.
But i am just so curious as to why anyone would go out and see this film. People say it’s just a tear jerker. But really, all it is, is depressing. Who wants to see a film about a dying kid, and a kid in the position to give up part of her body. Now the movie could be awesome. Like the best directing and cinematography. But even then, it wouldn’t matter. The content of the film is something i wouldn’t go pay for, but i guess the same goes for horror films. So i wasn’t surprised to go on Rotten Tomato’s to see that the movie was a flop. If you go and see this film, please write back!
